Brooke & Richie’s engagement session at the Water’s Edge Resort and Spa was something out of a movie!

The Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook, CT was the perfect backdrop. It had everything we needed for a coastal New England engagement session. The weather was on our side, we had a beautiful morning and even the hydrangeas were in full bloom! This location was also extra special to Brooke & Richie because it is where they both met and work at the resorts oceanside restaurant! This is something I emphasize to my couples when picking a location for an engagement session. If the location you choose has special meaning to you, it makes all the difference in your photos!

We started off their session with a more formal look, and toasted to a very exciting next chapter! Before changing and heading to the ocean where we took more portraits in a more casual outfit, and even got into the water for a few! Last, but not least, we were joined by the couple’s ADORABLE puppy Brandy! Who stole the show and everyone’s hearts in her bandana!

I can’t tell if we laughed or danced more during this engagement session, but we did have a BLAST! I am already counting down to their Wedding Day in August of 2024 at the Otesaga! Brooke & Richie, it’s an honor to be your Hype Girl, and I can’t wait to do this all over again soon!!

Brooke LOVES hydrangeas! We couldn’t have picked a better time for their session as the hydrangeas were in full bloom during their photos!

The photo below is where Brooke & Richie had one of their first photos taken together as a couple!! We had to recreate the photo in the same spot, this time with a little extra sparkle!

Brandy stole the show and was so well-behaved! A shoutout goes to Brooke’s sister Erin who was a big help, aka dog whisperer!

If I have said it once I have said it 1000x’s, I am already counting down the days until your BIG day Brooke and Richie!! You guys are incredible and I can’t to see you both at the Otesaga!
