I’d like you to meet Chris & Ashley, the new Mr. and Mrs. Onorato!

It was an honor to be asked to photograph these two families coming together as one! This session was special not only because they had planned and replanned their big day (COVID wasn’t going to stop them!), but I have known Ashley & her family for a long time, and Jacqueline and I used to work together!

It was great to see them! We broke their session into two parts. The first part was when Ashley and Jacqueline had their makeup trail, and we did some mother daughter portraits! We got lucky, we finished just in time for golden hour (my personal favorite time to shoot!) and we were very close to the Colonie Town Park which has beautiful access to the Mohawk River. And who doesn’t love getting glam and then having your photos taken, am I right?

The second part of their session was their rehearsal dinner! The location of their rehearsal dinner was The Saratoga Winery and was in the new Wine Barn, which is the perfect mix of rustic elegance for your next wedding or event. The Wine Barn has capacity for 125 guests, and has a great outdoor space for photos, corn hole and much more!

When I was at the Winery last, I photographed Linda & Alex’s baby shower (which was a while ago as the twins are now 2!), which was in the Barrel Room. The Barrel Room is another great private event space that The Saratoga Winery has to offer with a different aesthetic for a smaller more intimate gathering.

Ashley and Chris were surrounded by friends and family who came in from all across the country. Although masks were mandatory during certain parts of the evening, you knew everyone in attendance we smiling underneath (especially during the speeches)!
