Anniversaries are an important milestone in any relationship! They remind you of how much you have grown together, and all of the memories you have shared along the journey to where you are today. I also strongly believe anniversary’s should be celebrated!

Laura and Greg have a lot to celebrate! They recently celebrated their three year anniverary! Over the course of those three years this couple has gotten married, bought a house, traveled the world together, and adopted a dog, just to name a few to name a few!

Laura and I have worked together before on her Brand Photo’s, and it is always an honor when I get to work with a client for a second time! This time I got the opportunity to capture her and Greg’s Love Story. Which as you can see from the photos below is one that is filled with so much JOY!

The location we choose was a special one. Laura and Greg were married in the height of COVID last year. They had an intimate ceremony with close friends and family, some of which joined them virtually. The Pruyn House was where Laura and Greg had originally hoped to have their engagement photos taken. Which made it the perfect setting for their Anniversary photos.

The Pruyn House is located in the Town of Colonie, and is run by the Friends of Pruyn House which is a non-profit corporation. The grounds are beautiful with private enclosed garden, as well as the rustic Burhmaster Barn which holds over 20 weddings per year! During the year the Pruyn house also hosts event and concerts. Their mission is to not only preserve the historic Pruyn House, but to serve as an educational and cultural center.

You may be asking yourself why should I get anniversary photos? Love is something that should be celebrated, whether you have been together six months or six years. When Laura saw her gallery she told me she “will cherish these photos for years to come.” Photos have a way of taking us back to a time that has come and gone. This is why it’s so important to schedule your session, so you to can capture your Love Story for years to come!
