An Elegant Surf Club on the Sound Wedding

The Surf Club on the Sound is a premier beachfront wedding venue located in New Rochelle, offering couples a refined sense of luxury. With its elegant ballroom and open-air beachfront setting, the venue allows guests to enjoy cocktail hour by the water while seamlessly transitioning into a sophisticated reception. Its blend of coastal and classic elegance makes The Surf Club on the Sound one of Westchester County’s most sought-after wedding venues.

Getting Ready

Erin and Gordon’s wedding day began at Erin’s family home in Westchester, where Gordon had proposed to Erin. He surprised her with an intimate and deeply heartfelt proposal, illuminated by candlelight. What Erin didn’t know was that an even bigger surprise awaited her inside. Their family and friends were waiting inside, ready to celebrate their engagement and share in the joy of the moment!

The Ceremony

From there, we made our way to the Immaculate Conception Church in Eastchester for their ceremony. The church was beautiful and the ceremony was heartfelt from start to finish, from the moment Erin walked down the aisle on her father’s arm to the celebratory send-off as Erin and Gordon exited the church as newlyweds.

Couples Portraits

The celebration continued at The Surf Club on the Sound, where we captured timeless and candid portraits. The venue offered a stunning variety of backdrops, from the floral-lined cobblestone driveway and elegant fountains at the front of the property to the grand marble staircase inside.

Wedding Portraits by the Water

One of the most stunning parts of this Westchester wedding venue is its waterfront views. The natural light reflecting off the Sound created timeless, romantic portraits that felt effortless and full of movement.

“Bridget captured our wedding on 10/18/25 and can I just say, wow. From the moment we connected, Bridget delivered a sense of calmness, reassurance and genuine support and excitement for us. From our engagement session to our wedding day, we had someone there by our side to guide us and make the whole process SO enjoyable. She genuinely cares and makes you feel like you’re the most beautiful people in the world. She is constantly hyping you up, checking in, and giving you pointers to get the most amazing shots. We went into this not knowing how to take professional photos and boy you would never know by the looks of our engagement/wedding day photos and guidance from Bridget. She is extremely organized throughout the entire process. She created a detailed timeline for our wedding day that kept EVERYONE on track, making sure we got the exact shots and photos we wanted. Reception

As we moved toward the beachfront, it felt as though we had been transported to a private island where we were joined by the bridal party for even more portraits.

As the cocktail hour came to a close, and guests entered the ballroom. Guests were greeted with a timeless setting for their reception, adorned with crystal chandeliers and soft pink and white florals. Erin and Gordon’s joyful entrance set the tone for an evening filled with celebration, culminating in a packed dance floor that carried the energy well into the night!
