I recently got the chance to meet Maureen, Nick and Bella (the most well-behaved dog!). Nick had just come home from deployment and it was the perfect time for updated couples portraits.
Maureen and I were introduced through our mutual friend Jennifer, who had a family session in the fall of last year! I greatly appreciate when my clients have such a good experience that they are excited to recommend me to their family and friends. (Thank you again, Jennifer!)
When Maureen reached out earlier in the year, she let me know she wanted something in the late spring/ early summer. This would also be the time in which her husband Nick would be home from deployment. She also joked in our session planning that she wanted to be sure they had photos of Nick in his uniform for their grandchildren, otherwise they may no believe him!
As we got planning Maureen and Nick also wanted to include their dog Bella! Which I knew at that time this couple was my kind of couple. I am a BIG animal lover, many of you know how much I love my cat Willa, but growing up we always had several pets and still do to this day. That said if you are thinking of including you pet’s in your future session, they are more than welcome!
I love being able to work with couples who are excited celebrate their love story. Maureen and Nick hadn’t gotten photos together since their wedding, and I am so glad Maureen reached out to book this session!
There is one thing, I want to stress when thinking about booking a Love Story session, and that’s you don’t need a big occasion to get photos done!
This past year has taught me that we need to celebrate the little moments and appreciate the time with have with friends and family. And I can’t think of a better way to do that than by documenting it with photos!
That said, I wanted to share some of the beautiful photos I captured of Nick, Maureen and Bella in Delmar NY.
Thank you Nick & Maureen for sharing your love story with me, and thank you Nick for your service!
